Rain : a very short story

I don't remember much of that day, but i remember the rain. Very precisely . How with each rain-drop kissing the soil, my heartbeat fastened. How I washed a faded face away with the rain. Memories, that were determined to haunt me in every second of my peace, were let go. How drenched in rain, i smiled, smirked and laughed. The empty rooftop was the only witness. Though life gave me several painful years, this was time when it returned all the debts of ecstasy. That was the day, when I finally,  freed myself.
Though I don't remember much of that day, but I remember the rain. very precisely.
